It once started in the basement of the Druckwerkstätten HBK (Printing Department) in Brunswick. Here KM started to print her motives occasionally on shirts instead on fine art paper – with cheerful respond of her comrads. This unique prints made its rounds.What began as the idea to have drawings, spells and signs wearable close to the body took its further paths. Printmodé becomes a label that appears aswell in spatial arrangements. Currently Printmodé offers organic cotton Longsleevs with subtile changing color motives and a selection of one of a kind silk and viskose Tops. Fabrics for the Tops are taken from deadstock sales from Italy or France and sewed with care by a Women*owned company nearby Warsaw. All garments are hand printed via Screen Print in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The motives arises from a multitude of fictional joy and non-fictional sensations.
